As a Life Group Leader, God has positioned you to impact lives in a very important and unique way. If you are a Freedom Leader, you are in the midst of all the hurts, habits, and hang-ups in people's lives. If you are an FPU Leader, you are helping to change people's family legacy. Maybe you are helping people study the bible or experience deeper fellowship within the LP community.  

All these Life Groups started as a dream between you and God. You saw the possibilities of what God could do as people "found freedom" through relationships. The first habit of effective Life Group leaders happens when you spend time with God and dream about what could be.  

In Ezekiel 37, God meets with Ezekiel and shows him a valley: 

The hand of the Lord was upon me, and he brought me out in the Spirit of the Lord and set me down in the middle of the valley; it was full of bones. 2 And he led me around among them, and behold, there were very many on the surface of the valley, and behold, they were very dry. 3 And he said to me, “Son of man, can these bones live?” And I answered, “O Lord God, you know.”

God gave Ezekiel a chance to see something that wasn't as if it was. He gave Ezekiel a chance to dream. All of our Life Groups come from a place of wanting more for people. Our Family groups dream of what families could look like with more Jesus. Our Explore groups provide a place for those who are new to the faith to find a better understanding.  

Pastor Danny has recently challenged us to hear from God in his sermons. I want to encourage you to keep dreaming. Open your heart to what God wants to do and like Ezekiel, take your chance to dream.
